House of Vered started the way most good things do — in a home kitchen, with a family recipe and no plan to sell anything. Word travelled fast, and soon Vered was baking for birthdays, holidays, and quiet Tuesday cravings across Houston.

When she saw how many people were quietly avoiding dessert tables because of gluten or dairy, she started rebuilding her recipes from scratch so no one had to sit that part out. Today every collection includes a gluten-free and dairy-free option — made with the same care as the originals.
